Our ballrooms are elegant and spacious and will accommodate up to 290 guests for a plated lunch or dinner, without a dance floor and up to 500 guests for a cocktail reception. The rooms are wired for sound and band needs with candle lighting that adds to the ambiance. The high ceilings and crystal/candle chandeliers add sophistication to any event. The patio and great lawn space have spectacular views of the beautiful golf course and outside ceremonies can accommodate up to 300 guest.

Do you have to be a member of Metairie Country Club to host an event at the Club?

MCC is a private club available for special events of its members as well as its members' sponsored guests. There are policies and procedures in place to ensure a positive experience for both member and sponsored guest. These will be reviewed as part of the booking process.

What is the responsibility of the member-sponsor?

In short, the member sponsor is required to be in attendance for the event. All financial charges are the member's ultimate responsibility and all deposits and payments will be made through the member's account.

What do I do if I am a non-member interested in hosting an event?

Once you have spoken to your member-sponsor, simply contact the catering office to begin exploring the possibilities.

What is the appropriate dress code when attending a function at Metairie Country Club?

Gentlemen must wear a coat after 5:00p.m. daily. Ladies are expected to dress appropriately and in good taste. Blue jeans are prohibited.
